Turku, Finland-based engineering company Meyer Floating Solutions recently unveiled images of proposed designs of floating terminals for use in ports that lack the infrastructure necessary for accommodating cruise ships.

Each completed terminal will be of modular design. The modules will all be built using environment-friendly processes at shipyards owned by Meyer Floating Solutions’ parent company the Meyer Group.

The terminal options will be available in a range of configurations from compact piers to larger facilities that can accommodate multiple ships.
