Oriana, a vessel formerly operated by P&O Cruises, was recently renamed following its acquisition by newly-formed Chinese operator Astro Ocean.

The 1995-built cruise ship has been renamed Piano Land in honour of Gulangyu island, which is renowned for being the birthplace of many well-known Chinese classical musicians.

Piano Land has capacity for up to 1,928 passengers. It will sail on short cruises out of Shenzhen until November, after which it will relocate to its new homeport of Xiamen.
