Solstad bags North Sea PSV contracts

An unnamed offshore operator has awarded Solstad Offshore contracts for two platform supply vessels (PSVs) for a period of six months firm plus options.

Far Spica (pictured) will commence its charter in June 2020 while Normand Springer or another sister vessel will follow in October 2020. Both vessels will be supporting the operator’s assets in the UK North Sea.

In addition, and as part of the frame agreement between Solstad and Aker BP, the call off for the PSV Far Solitaire has been extended until the end of 2020.

Far Solitaire has supported Aker BP’s operations since December 2019.
