UK naval architects Chartwell Marine has unveiled a new range of offshore support vessels (OSVs) for use in the offshore renewables segment.
The designs include a crewboat that can be fitted with foiling technology, a 27-metre crewboat with provisions for up to 32 personnel, a 34-metre crewboat with a foredeck capacity up to 100 square metres, and a customisable daughter craft with crew transfer and search and rescue functions.
The OSVs are also available in various propulsion options including diesel, electric, and hybrid. The 34-metre crewboat may also be configured to accommodate hydrogen propulsion in future.
