Saipem Portugal to acquire Solstad pipelay vessel
Saipem Portugal Commercio Maritimo, a subsidiary of Saipem, has decided to declare the purchase option for Norce Endeavour, a pipelay vessel owned by Solstad Offshore.
Solstad had earlier entered into a bareboat contract with Saipem for the vessel. As part of the bareboat contract, Saipem had the option, at its discretion and subject to, among others, Saipem internal approval, to purchase the vessel.
Delivery of Norce Endeavour to Saipem is scheduled for April 2020.
