French shipbuilders Ufast and Raidco Marine have been contracted to build an additional two 33-metre GRP-hulled patrol boats in a series for the Senegalese Navy.

These will be the second and third patrol boats in a series to be ordered by Senegal. The first unit, Ferlo (pictured), was delivered in 2013.

The two additional units are scheduled to be delivered in 2019 and 2020, respectively.

Each vessel will have a length of 33.95 metres, a maximum speed of 30 knots, a 20-millimetre autocannon, and the ability to launch and recover one rigid hull inflatable boat (RHIB).
