Russian firm unveils concept designs for future aircraft carrier, landing ship

United Shipbuilding Corporation’s (USC) Nevskoye Planning and Design Bureau has unveiled the first concept design images of an aircraft carrier (pictured) and a landing ship slated for the Russian Navy.

The proposed aircraft carrier will have a length of 250 metres and a displacement of 45,000 tonnes. It will be capable of accommodating 24 multi-role fighter aircraft, six helicopters, and an assortment of 20 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

The landing ship will have a length of 220 metres, a waterline draught of seven metres, a displacement of 30,000 tonnes, and a flight deck that can accommodate seven helicopters.
