The Nigerian Navy will take delivery of two additional patrol vessels from French shipbuilder OCEA before the end of the year.

The future NNS Aba is a 35-metre fast patrol boat while P271 is a smaller interceptor craft. Both vessels have been loaded on a cargo ship and are expected to arrive in Lagos in the coming days.

The navy will also take delivery of an Ocea-built hydrographic research vessel, the future NNS Lana, during the same period.
