The Royal Canadian Navy’s second Harry DeWolf-class Arctic and Offshore Patrol Ship (AOPS), the future HMCS Margaret Brooke, was launched on Sunday, November 10, at Irving Shipbuilding’s Halifax Shipyard.

The vessel is now pier side at Halifax Shipyard alongside its sister, the future HMCS Harry DeWolf. Work will continue to prepare the second AOPS for sea trials.

The future Margaret Brooke is scheduled to be delivered to the Royal Canadian Navy late next year.
