The Indian Navy corvette INS Kiltan has completed transporting humanitarian relief to Vietnam and Cambodia to benefit communities in the two countries that have been affected by recent flooding.

The voyages were conducted as part of Mission Sagar III, the Indian government’s ongoing humanitarian and disaster relief (HADR) assistance to friendly foreign nations amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

The navy said Kiltan‘s crew transported offloaded 15 tonnes of aid at Nha Rong Port in Ho Chi Minh City and another 15 tonnes at the Port of Sihanoukville over a five-day period in late December. The ship departed Sihanoukville on Friday, January 1, and is presently sailing for home waters.
