Damen, Astimar complete sea trials of future Mexican Navy frigate

Damen Shipyards Group and Mexican shipbuilder Astimar have completed sea trials of the future ARM Reformador (“Reformer”), a Pola-class frigate slated for the Mexican Navy.

The comprehensive trials included testing of the platform and combat systems in addition to training of Mexican Navy crews.

The 107-metre Reformador is a modified variant of Damen’s Sigma-class frigate, examples of which are currently in service with the navies of Morocco and Indonesia.
