Contract awarded for new Royal Navy support tenders

MARITIME SECURITY WEEK

Atlas Elektronik UK (AEUK) has awarded a contract to Cowes-based shipyard Diverse Marine for the production of three passenger transfer boats that will be operated by the Royal Navy.

The tenders will provide passenger transfer support for the aircraft carrier HMS Prince of Wales. Delivery is scheduled for later this year.

Each boat will have space for 34 passengers and three crewmembers.
