Newbuild joins Rosmorport’s hopper barge fleet
Russia’s Onezhsky Shipbuilding has delivered a new self-propelled hopper barge to local port operator Rosmorport.
Named Smelaya, the 56- by 11-metre vessel has a hopper capacity of 600 cubic metres and two 350kW main engines that deliver a speed of around 8.2 knots.
The newbuild is a near identical sister of Morskaya, which was delivered to Rosmorport earlier this year.
