Rosmorport to take delivery of new hopper barge
Russia’s Rosmorport will take delivery of a new hopper barge before the end of November.
Morskaya is the first in a series of two vessels built by local shipyard Onezhsky. It has an LOA of 56.1 metres, a beam of 11.2 metres, a draught of 2.92 metres, a hopper capacity of 600 cubic metres, and a displacement of 1,690 tonnes.
The vessel’s two 470kW engines deliver a speed of 8.2 knots.
