Boluda Towage has acquired full ownership of Dutch maritime services company Muller Dordrecht.

The acquired business will operate as Boluda Muller Towage. It brings a fleet of 16 tugs, including seven offshore tugs, and eight barges, along with Muller's expertise in offshore towing, moving heavy loads and marine projects.

Boluda Muller Towage will provide services worldwide to customers in offshore towing and marine projects. Boluda said the transaction forms part of its international growth strategy.

"Its specialist activities will continue alongside our existing European towage operations," said Boluda Towage Executive Chairman Vicente Boluda Ceballos.

Muller Dordrecht was founded in 1918. Its offshore work includes rig moves, anchor handling and moving monopiles and offshore substations by tow for wind farm construction, with experience in the North Sea and Baltic Sea.

The company also handles towage at sea and along the coast, as well as heavy transport and lifting, load testing for crane vessels, and round-the-clock emergency response and salvage along the North Sea and English Channel coastline.

Muller's seagoing fleet includes a 120-tonne bollard pull ASD tug with FiFi2 capability and 90-tonne bollard pull ASD tugs such as En Avant 25. The company took delivery of the 65-tonne bollard pull En Avant 19 for offshore and inland work in March 2026.

Its barges are flat-top Ro-Ro units. Most hold both inland and seagoing classification, which allows cargo to be moved from a riverside location to an overseas port without transshipment. The largest listed unit measures 100.23 metres long and has a capacity of 16,500 tonnes.
