Robert Allan Ltd has been awarded a contract to design a new series of tugs for Turkish operator Med Marine.
Each tug will have an LOA of 32 metres, a width of 13.2 metres, a maximum draught of 6.1 metres, and a speed of 13 knots.
The tugs will be available in both 85-tonne and 90-tonne bollard pull variants and will be able to perform berthing, unberthing, escort, and other ship handling roles in normal and heavy weather conditions.
