Turkish naval shipbuilder STM Defence has laid the keels of three future littoral mission ships (LMS) ordered by the Royal Malaysian Navy.

All three ships will be built in Turkey with STM as the prime contractor responsible for all phases of the project from design to delivery.

Moose Boats has delivered a catamaran to the Santa Barbara Harbor Patrol to serve as both a law enforcement and fireboat, responding throughout the Santa Barbara harbor and coastal region.

The build features twin 300hp (225kW) Suzuki outboards with contra-rotating dual stainless-steel propellers.

Western Baltija Shipbuilding in Klaipėda, Lithuania has laid the keel of a new offshore patrol vessel (OPV) ordered by the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN).

The OPV is the first in a planned class of two that will utilise a design similar to that of the Potsdam-class police patrol vessels in service in Germany. Design work was undertaken by German shipbuilder Fassmer.

The new RSN OPV is scheduled to enter service in 2028.

Lithuanian Navy orders high-speed landing craft pair

The Lithuanian- and Latvian Ministry of Defence have awarded a contract for the "common future multi-purpose attack craft" (CFMAC) procurement program to Marine Alutech.

This contract is the second step after a 2024 technical agreement between Latvia, Lithuania and Finland to strengthen regional defence.

The future BRP Miguel Malvar, the Philippine Navy's newest guided-missile corvette, finally arrived in Philippine waters on Tuesday, April 8.

The corvette departed South Korea in late March following completion at HD Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI). Sister ship BRP Diego Silang is still under construction at HHI's facilities.
