Palmarine went international many years ago when it moved from Sydney to Singapore. Originally well known in Australia for its versatile, innovative and high quality hydraulic steering systems for fishing boats, tugs, ferries and other commercial vessels, it is now very much a global operator.

“We have been supplying hydraulic steering gear systems for the past 58 years, experience and quality is our DNA,” Palmarine told Baird Maritime. “Through the years we have gained many satisfied owners/users, who have repeatedly use our equipment for their new built vessel, due to its simple operation, good quality and after sales service.

Palmarine offers its client steering gear systems together with conventional or flap rudder packages, to solve the yard interfacing problem of stock and tiller matching.

Presently, the company is working with its counterparts to supply rotary vane and Azimuth steering gear systems to give its clients more choice.
