Yantar delivers Project SK3101R seiner-trawler Komandor

United Shipbuilding Corporation’s (USC) Yantar Baltic Shipbuilding Plant has delivered a new Project SK3101R combination purse seiner and pelagic trawler to the Kolkhovetskaya Fishing Collective of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatka.

Designed by Norway’s Skipskompetanse, Komandor (“Commander”) has a length of 50.6 metres, a beam of 12 metres, and a 2,200kW main engine.

The vessel is the second Project SK3101R seiner-trawler to be built for the same customer. The first vessel, Leninets, was delivered earlier this year while the third, Udarnik (“Drummer”), will be handed over in February 2020.
