USC delivers first Project SK3101R trawler/seiner

United Shipbuilding Corporation’s (USC) Yantar Baltic Shipbuilding Plant handed over the newbuild trawler/seiner Leninets to the Kolkhovetskaya Fishing Collective on Monday, August 26.

The first vessel under Project SK3101R, Leninets has a length of 50.6 metres, a beam of 12 metres, a 2,200kW main engine, and equipment for bottom and pelagic trawling, seining, and purse seine deep-water fishing.

Two sister vessels are scheduled to be delivered to the same customer later this year. All three Project SK3101R vessels were designed by Norway’s Skipskompetanse.
