Russian Fishery Company (RFC) has confirmed that its newest factory trawler recently arrived at its homeport of Vladivostok following its delivery voyage from Turkey and is now ready to sail on operations.

Built by Tersan Shipyard to a Skipsteknisk design, Vladimir Limanov is the first in a series of 11 factory trawlers ordered by RFC. It measures 108 by 21 metres and is equipped for producing high-quality pollock surimi.

The trawler will first undergo customs clearance procedures and a survey by the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping before departing on its first operational voyage in the waters off the country’s Far East.
