A shipyard in Gdansk, Poland, has floated out a new beam trawler being built for Belgian fishing company Rederij Devan.

The vessel, named Avanti, has since arrived at Damen Maaskant Shipyards Stellendam in the Netherlands, where it will undergo further outfitting. It is scheduled for delivery in early 2022.

The trawler will have a length of 37.95 metres, a beam of 8.5 metres, a fish hold capacity of 200 cubic metres, and a total installed power of 1,000 kW once completed.
