Quebec’s Listuguj First Nation orders fishing vessel from local builder

The Listuguj Miꞌgmaq First Nation of Quebec has placed an order for a new multi-species fishing vessel to be built by local shipyard Chantier Naval Forillon.

The 19.8-metre, all-steel vessel will primarily be used to fish for crab and groundfish.

Delivery is scheduled for the spring of 2022.
