Italian shipyard Fincantieri held a steel-cutting ceremony for the first in a series of two new LNG-fueled vessels for Princess Cruises on Thursday, September 2.
Fincantieri said the two 175,000GT Sphere-class vessels will will be the largest ships to be built in Italy.
Once completed, each ship will have capacity for 4,300 guests.
