Assets deployed by Kentucky's Mercer County Fire District after a boat struck a pontoon on Herrington Lake, July 4, 2026. Four of the boat's occupants suffered varying degrees of injury while a fifth was later found dead. The boating incident is one of two that occurred on the same evening in the US.
