The Royal Australian Navy (RAN) commissioned its newest auxiliary oiler replenishment (AOR) ship into service in a ceremony at Fleet Base West, Rockingham, Western Australia, on Saturday, November 13.

HMAS Stalwart, the second of the Supply-class auxiliary oiler replenishment ships, will provide logistics replenishment to ships at sea, while also having the ability to support the Joint Force on a wider scale.

The AOR is the third RAN vessel to carry the name Stalwart. As with earlier sister HMAS Supply, the third Stalwart was built by Navantia of Spain.
