ADNOC Logistics and Services (ADNOC L&S) announced that it has exercised options for two additional newbuild LNG carriers from Jiangnan Shipyard in Shanghai, China.
The agreement for the new vessels carries a total value of $444 million, with delivery scheduled for 2029.
Each vessel has a cargo capacity of 175,000 cubic metres. Upon delivery, the company expects the two carriers to be deployed on long-term charters.
Including this latest order, the firm reported that it has announced approximately $2.7 billion in vessel acquisitions and newbuild commitments during 2026.

Oman-based Asyad Shipping has taken delivery of Manah, the first of two IMO Type II medium range (MR) chemical tankers being built by Lianyungang Shipbuilding Yard in China.
A joint naming ceremony for Manah and its sister vessel, Marbat, was held on August 6, with both ships named after historic towns in Oman.
Following delivery, Manah will commence a three-year time charter, while Marbat is scheduled for delivery next month under a similar three-year charter agreement.
