Estonian ferry operator Tallink Grupp carried 476,580 passengers in October 2026, an increase of two per cent compared with the same month a year earlier, according to traffic statistics released on November 3.

Cargo units rose 5.6 per cent to 23,089, while passenger vehicles fell 5.6 per cent to 54,735.

Estonia–Finland, served by shuttle vessels MyStar and Megastar and cruise ferry Victoria I, carried 290,095 passengers, up 1.2 per cent. Finland–Sweden carried 141,861 passengers, up 3.5 per cent, and Estonia–Sweden carried 44,624, up 2.1 per cent.

Cargo units increased 12.5 per cent to 17,870 on Estonia–Finland and 37.8 per cent to 3,718 on Finland–Sweden. Estonia–Sweden cargo fell 54.2 per cent to 1,501 units.

The company said the October Estonia–Sweden figures reflect only the cruise ferry Baltic Queen on Tallinn–Stockholm.

A year earlier, the route group also included the Paldiski–Kapellskär service operated by Superfast IX. That service was discontinued in May after the vessel's bareboat charter began on May 1.

Passenger vehicles fell 5.7 per cent to 48,882 on Estonia–Finland and 20.1 per cent to 1,633 on Estonia–Sweden. They rose 2.8 per cent to 4,220 on Finland–Sweden.

Speaking at the company's third-quarter results webinar on October 22, Chairman of the Management Board Peep Jalakas said of the Paldiski–Kapellskär route: "We have looked for the vessel, but with current fuel prices, the probability to restore this route is rather low."
