From Baird Maritime
This is a much expanded and improved second edition of what was already a very good and useful book. If nothing else it shows that anything can be improved if you try hard enough.
Underwater photography is never easy. It is even harder in cold dark water such as are the norm along Canada's Pacific coast. The author has done a very commendable job in assembling such a large collection of really clear photographs of so many of the marine species in the area.
Some of those species are, of course, unique to those waters but many are found further afield or even worldwide. The book thus has much wider appeal than may be imagined from the title.
A really well produced and widely useful field guide.
