Multraship’s new Damen ASD tugs christened
Two Damen ASD 3212 tugs for towage and salvage company Multraship have been named in Terneuzen, the Netherlands.
The ‘Multratug 29’ and ‘Multratug 30’ were built at the Damen Song Cam Shipyard in Vietnam.
The pair will operate for Multraship as sister vessels to ‘Multratug 19’ which was built in 2012.
The 32-metre tugs have a bollard pull of 82 tonnes. The two tugs will be used for both the harbour towage and offshore energy sectors, as well as being equipped to operate as emergency response vessels.
