Dutch firm unveils new multi-role pusher tug design

Netherlands-based the Damen Shipyards Group has introduced a new series of pusher tug suitable for both inland and coastal operations.
Each tug in the series will be capable of accommodating different propulsion options including diesel, diesel-electric, and full electric with swappable battery containers.
Duties will include towing, pushing, construction support, surveys, dive support, and dredging.
