Conrad Shipyard starts building second MiNO-designed 4,474kW towboat
Conrad Shipyard has started construction on a second towboat in a series designed by MiNO Marine.
The vessel will have a length of 166 feet (50 metres), a beam of 49 feet (15 metres), a pilothouse with one floating and one fixed section, and two General Electric Tier IV engines with a total output of 6,000 hp (4,474 kW).
Like the first vessel in the series, the second towboat is being built for an unnamed US-based customer.
