Vane Brothers launches operations on US West Coast

Baltimore-based transportation provider Vane Brothers has expanded its operations to the US West Coast.

Under its initial West Coast operations, the company has deployed some of the newest tugs in its fleet for moving oil tanker barges through the waters of the Pacific Northwest and down the California coast.

Vane Brothers’ current West Coast fleet operations are focused on a ship-bunkering partnership with Marathon Petroleum Corporation in Washington State’s Puget Sound and dock-to-dock transfers on behalf of Valero Energy Corporation in an area that includes the twin ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, as well as the Port of Benicia at the head of San Francisco Bay.
