Turkey’s Eren Energy acquires locally-built tug
Turkish company Eren Energy has purchased a harbour tug from local builder Sanmar Shipyards.
Originally built in 2018, the Robert Allan Ltd-designed tug will be the third Sanmar vessel to join the Eren fleet. It has an LOA of 24.4 metres, a moulded beam of 11.25 metres, and two 1,765kW engines that deliver a bollard pull of 60 tonnes and a free running speed of 13 knots.
The tug also has Fifi1 firefighting equipment.
