TOR Group completes 30-metre firefighting tug

Turkey’s TOR Group of Companies has completed construction of a new ASD firefighting tug.

Designed by MacDuff Ship Design and classed by Bureau Veritas, the vessel has an LOA of 30 metres, a beam of 11 metres, an operating draught of 5.2 metres, accommodations for nine people, and two Yanmar 6EY22AW 1,330kW main engines that deliver a bollard pull of 42 tonnes.

The tug also has a pair of FiFi1 monitors, each with a rated output of 1,200 cubic metres per hour.

The newbuild is available for charter or sale through TOR Group.
