Szczecin and Swinoujscie Seaports Authority orders firefighting tug from local builder
Poland’s Remontowa Shipbuilding has won a tender for the construction of a firefighting tug for use by the Szczecin and Świnoujście Seaports Authority.
The vessel will be designed to carry out firefighting and marine rescue operations including firefighting assistance for gas tankers in the Port of Świnoujście.
The tug is scheduled to be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2022. It will be the third vessel in a series that Remontowa will supply to the same customer.
