Svitzer signs tug charter agreement with Sohar Port
Danish towage provider Svitzer has signed a charter agreement with an Omani company for five new tugs that will be used in the Port of Sohar.
The agreement signed with Sohar Port and Freezone also includes maintenance, manning, managing, and operation of the tugs.
The contract has a duration of 15 years from the arrival of the first tug in Sohar, which is scheduled for August 1, 2020.
