Svitzer has been awarded a five-year contract for the provision of support services at the Port of Nacala in Mozambique for local firm Nacala Logistics.

The contract covers services including harbour towage, occasional pilot transfer, and potential salvage work.

At the same time, Svitzer secured a five-year extension of its current contract with Egyptian LNG. The contract calls for work in support of the land-based Idku LNG plant.

For the Egyptian LNG contract, Svitzer will continue to provide four tugs, two mooring boats, and one pilot boat.
