Second tug in series for French Navy floated out

French shipbuilder Piriou has launched the second tug in a series ordered by the French Navy.

Zinzolin belongs to a planned series of 20 tugs that were ordered by the navy in 2020. Fifteen tugs will be optimised for harbour operations while the remaining five will be used in coastal waters.

The tugs will each have a bollard pull of 30 tonnes.
