Saam to take over Ian Taylor Towage’s Peru operations

Saam Towage has entered into an agreement with Ian Taylor Towage to acquire the latter’s towage operations in Peru.

Ian Taylor currently provides services with four tugs at the ports of Callao and Paita. Following the acquisition, these tugs will join the five vessels in Saam’s existing Peru fleet, which has been operating in the country since 2021.

Saam Towage CEO Hernán Gómez said the acquisition will enable the company to continue to strengthen its presence along the Pacific Coast.
