Saam finalises purchase of 21 tugs from Brazilian operator

Saam Towage has concluded the purchase of 21 tugs from Brazilian company Starnav

The acquires vessels include 19 tugs currently in operation and two additional vessels in the final phase of construction. The agreed-upon value of the Starnav assets is US$198 million.

Once the new assets have been integrated, Saam Towage Brazil will have a fleet of 69 tugs in 19 Brazilian ports.
