Robert Allan Ltd clinches Seacor tug contract
Robert Allan Ltd (RAL) has been awarded design contracts of two vessel types for Seacor subsidiary Seabulk Towing.
Two of the tugs will be ASD vessels with hybrid diesel mechanical/electric motor propulsion systems provided by Caterpillar while the remaining pair will feature RAL’s own triple drive configuration design offering enhanced omni-directional manoeuvrability and control.
All four vessels will be constructed at Master Boat Builders’ facilities in Alabama.
