PSA Marine welcomes PaxOcean tug pair to fleet
Singapore-based PSA Marine recently took delivery of two ASD tugs in a series from PaxOcean Engineering Zhuhai.
The LR-classed, Robert Allan Ltd-designed PSA Valkyrie (pictured) and PSA Marvel are slightly modified sisters of PSA Thor and PSA Hulk, which were delivered in 2018.
The newbuilds each have an LOA of 32 metres, a moulded beam of 12 metres, a maximum draught of 5.42 metres, and two Caterpillar 3516C main engines that deliver a bollard pull of 83.5 tonnes and a free running speed of 13.5 knots. The onboard MLC-compliant accommodations are for a crew of 10.
