PSA Marine takes delivery of dual fuel tug

Singapore’s PSA Marine has taken delivery of a dual fuel ship-handling tug from local builder PaxOcean Shipyard.

Named PSA Aspen, the Robert Allan Ltd-designed vessel is the first dual fuel tug to enter service with PSA Marine in the Port of Singapore.

The 28- by 11.5 metre tug is able to operate on either diesel fuel or LNG. It has a bollard pull of 56 tonnes and a free running speed in excess of 13 knots.
