Piriou delivers ASD tug pair to Boluda France

VB Concorde

Piriou has delivered two ASD tugs in a series to Boluda Corporacion Maritima subsidiary Boluda France for operations in the port of Saint Nazaire.

VB Concorde (pictured) and VB Mirage were built at Piriou’s shipyard in Vietnam for harbour assistance, towage, and deep sea operations.

Each steel-hulled tug has an LOA of 30.3 metres, a moulded beam of 10.4 metres, a maximum draught of 5.3 metres, and two 2,240kW engines that deliver a bollard pull of 73 tonnes and a speed of 12.5 knots.

Four more tugs in the same series are scheduled to be delivered to Boluda France by May 2020.
