Pakistan’s Port Qasim orders buoy tender from Turkish builder

The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) of Pakistan has awarded Turkish builder Med Marine a contract for the construction of a tender vessel to be used for buoy-laying duties.

Once completed, the vessel will have an LOA of 45 metres, a moulded beam of 11.8 metres, a design draught of 3.7 metres, and space for 16 personnel.

Design work on the buoy tender will be provided by Singapore-based naval architects SeaTech Solutions International.
