MOL takes delivery of LNG-fueled tug

Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) took delivery of Ishin, a newbuild LNG-fueled tug from Kanagawa Dockyard, on Wednesday, February 27.

The vessel will be operated by MOL subsidiary Nihon Tug-Boat in Kobe.

Ishin has a length of 43.6 metres, a width of 9.2 metres, and a draught of 3.15 metres. Two Yanmar 6EY26DF dual-fuel engines give it a speed of 16.4 knots.
