Med Marine launches tug for Rimorchiatori Riuniti
A new ASD tug being built for an Italian customer has been launched at Med Marine’s Ereğli shipyard.
The Robert Allan Ltd-designed vessel will be operated by Rimorchiatori Riuniti Group subsidiary Tug Malta upon delivery in April 2019.
The tug has a length of 29.7 metres, a width of 13.3 metres, and a depth of 5.45 metres.
Twin MTU 16V4000M65L 1280kW engines will give the vessel a free sailing speed of 13 knots and a bollard pull of 80 tonnes.
