MacDuff Ship Design scores tug contract with TOR Group

MacDuff Ship Design has been awarded a contract by Turkish shipbuilder TOR Group of Companies to design a new ASD harbour tug with a secondary firefighting capability.

The vessel will have a length of 25 metres, a bollard pull of 48 tonnes, and FiFi1 equipment. Accommodations will be for 16 crew and will include two single-berth officer cabins and separate junior and senior mess rooms.

The tug will be available for charter or sale through TOR Group.
