Kotug takes delivery of 32m tug from Chinese yard

Kotug has taken delivery of a new tug built by China’s Hin Lee Zhuhai Shipyard.

The Robert Allan Ltd-designed RT Clerke has a length of 32 metres and a beam of 12.6 metres. Three Caterpillar main engines with a total output of 5,295 kW deliver a speed of 13 knots and a bollard pull of 80 tonnes.

The tug will sail under the flag of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
